Roger Sevrin Bruland, a Norwegian journalist based in Berlin, drove numerous times between Germany and northern Italy during the height of the first wave of COVID-19 to report on the situation there. Bergens Tidende commissioned me to photograph him as he emerged from two weeks of self-isolation following one of his trips.
