Ersatzverkehr (in this case German for rail replacement service) is a series I made while riding an old bus on a rainy day in Berlin. Due to construction on one of the major S-Bahn lines, seemingly random buses were contracted to fill the gap. I liked the patterns and colors of the bus I found myself on that day, different from the typical Berlin bus, along with obscured views through the fogged over windows.
